Instructor's BIO


Sharon Skaling, president of Simply Sharon and Panoply 3D Image Consulting Inc., turns people, and organizations, inside out. Through her professional speaking and consulting practice, Sharon works with clients who want to uncover their inner selves and express it through their image presentation.

Sharon has more than 20 years of experience in fashion retail, management, and human resources, and attended the International Image Institute, Toronto Ontario. She created the personal branding program "You: The Total Package" as a result of working with both corporate and entrepreneurial clients and recognizing the need for a program that leads through self-uncovery™ to discover what may be holding people back from being all that they already are.

Sharon has been featured for her entrepreneurial and innovative business development in numerous business papers and journals, including Progress Magazine and received the 2005 Sobey School of Business Leader of Tomorrow award for demonstrating exceptional initiative, visibility, resourcefulness, and involvement in the business community in Atlantic Canada.

Sharon has published two books, I Have Nothing to Wear: How to Make $ and Sense From Your Business Wardrobe and Did I Say That? What Is Your Body Language Saying? and is currently working on You: The Total Package.

Sharon was the 2007 President of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS) Halifax Chapter and co-chaired the Small Business Committee at the Halifax Chamber of Commerce.
